Another thing: Lufthansa kicks butt. Air travel, especially a busy transatlantic flight, is always going to be a bit of a cattle call (THANK YOU HOMELAND SECURITY!). I give Lufthansa credit for making a long flight a pleasant experience. The planes are clean and comfortable, and they serve real food with real silverware.
