Beth & Jenny model their Derby hats. We toasted Big Brown's big win with frozen mint juleps on Saturday. Sliders and Derby Pie were on the menu, along with a bunch of tasty side dishes. The viewing of the race was followed by a screening of the movie Phar Lap, about the famous Australian racehorse of the 1930's.
We learned the following:
1. The mint julep can be made into a tasty blender drink
2. Brie is AWESOME on a cheeseburger
